Rockefeller Chapel:
Members Only Carillon Tower Tour
Members were able to observe 72 bells, 127 steps and 100 tons of bronze grace on this musically stunning tour of Rockefeller Chapel & the Carillon Tower.
This complimentary event was hosted for Members only.

Easter Sunday Egg Hunt & Brunch
Families delighted in Springtime wonder at our Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch.
Children got to join the Easter Bunny on an egg hunt, followed by a delicious buffet brunch spread on the second floor.

Saint Patrick’s Day Beer Tasting
Featuring Goose Island Brewing and Irish Fare
A lucky group of members tasted 4 unique Goose Island beers, followed by an Irish fare dinner menu in the Lounge.

International Women’s Day Breakfast
Intimate groups of friends and colleagues enjoyed a delightful breakfast and complimentary mimosas & coffee to celebrate the women in their lives.

Kids, students, faculty & staff gathered for an end of quarter treat of coffee & donuts prior to Spring Break.

Intimate group of members traveled back in time to ancient Egypt & Babylonia.

Violinists at Valentine’s Day
A duo of violinists serenaded a dozen couples on this romantic evening.
Chef Emilio Gonzalez prepared a romantic specialty menu alongside custom cocktails for members in the Dining Room, as violinists sisters Teja and Tierra Syers serenaded diners.
Following the meal, guests were treated to a decadent sweets table prepared by the culinary team.

Mardi Gras Beignets
Everywhere else it was Tuesday, but here we featured Mardi Gras beignets for our lunch crowd.

Mardi Gras Seafood & Jazz Nights
New Orleans came to the Quad Club when we celebrated Mardi Gras in the Lounge.
Members enjoyed a deliciously curated Cajun inspired menu, and live New Orleans style music.

Smart Museum of Art: Members Tour
Ruth Duckworth’s ceramic pottery and landscapes were marveled by an intimate group.
Members were invited to take part in the visual wonders and extraordinary exhibits at the University of Chicago’s Smart Museum of Art.
Members were encouraged to enjoy lunch in the dining room prior to this private tour for members only.

Winter Holiday Cookie Bags
During the season of giving, members ordered Chef Emilio’s signature cookies.
Members who may have missed out on the Thanksgiving Cookie Bags had another opportunity to indulge in a sweet treat.
Specialty cookie flavors included: Christmas Sugar Cookie, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, and Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Winter Holidays at the Club
Members gathered to celebrate the seasons of Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, Diwali & Three Kings Day.
Kids and Families enjoyed multicultural snacks and treats, craft and game stations, and a festive visit with Santa.
Chef Emilio also prepared a holiday-inspired buffet for all to enjoy.

KOVAL Whiskey Tasting
A jam-packed crowd of members tasted 5 locally distilled whiskeys in the Library.
Members enjoyed a complimentary Whiskey Tasting Event with KOVAL Distillery, the first distillery to open in Chicago since the mid-1800’s.
Whiskey expert Angela Salinas led the curated tasting of KOVAL’s international award-winning whiskeys and bourbons and a specialty cocktail.

Thanksgiving Cookie Bags
Members brought the Quad Club home “sweet” home for the holidays.
Crafted in house by Chef Emilio Gonzalez, the Club offered members gourmet cookies to take home for the holidays.
Specialty cookie flavors included: The Signature Club Cookie, Cherry Chocolate & Bourbon, and Maple Shortbread.

Atomic Village: Walking Tour
History and Science buffs came together for this timely tour of campus.
Members were invited to explore the footprint of Hyde Park’s Atomic Village with University of Chicago’s Mark Hansen.
Members met in the lobby of the Club to mingle prior to walking campus on this exclusive, members only tour.

Court Theatre Dinner & Show
Members enjoyed dinner, a performance, and a post show discussion.
Members enjoyed a specialty dinner menu at the Club followed by a performance of ‘The Lion in Winter’ at Court Theatre.
The post show discussion offered members the chance to engage with the art on a deeper level by asking questions and speaking with production.

Murder Mystery Night
A second showing of our sold-out dinner party solved the crime and celebrated Halloween.
In partnership with Dinner Detective, Club Members were whisked into an evening full of mystery and tasked with using their inner detective skills to decode clues and identify the culprit of the evening.
This exciting, collaborative event was hosted in the Library and featured a delicious three course meal for guests as they partnered together to share theories and clues.

Cider & Donuts Breakfast
Members kicked off Autumn Quarter with a Fall treat.
To begin the Autumn Quarter with a warm start, the Club hosted a complimentary breakfast.
Seasonal selections included regular or decaf coffee, warm apple cider, and fresh pastries for active and departmental members.

Seafood & Jazz Experience
Members enjoyed live saxophone music and seafood in the Lounge.
Chef Emilio Gonzalez created a specialty menu featuring fresh seafood selections such as shrimp cocktail, crab legs, and more.
We served specialty craft cocktails as members enjoyed a live saxophone performance and jazz music in the Lounge.

Grand Slam Tennis Event
Grand Slam Tennis inspired bites and complimentary court time were enjoyed by members.
Members and their family were invited to dress in their best tennis attire and join us out on the Har Tru Clay courts for complimentary gameplay with one another. Chef Emilio Gonzalez prepared a complimentary buffet of culinary selections in the Solarium for this event.
Our resident USPTA certified coach, Pat Henegan, also joined members on out the courts.
